Stainless steel materials - individual groups and classes of steel are described with a 4-digit combination of letters and numbers. The letter describes the general classification of the steel group. For austenitic steels the letter A is used. The first digit after the letter indicates the type of alloy steel within the group. The last two digits indicate the strength class.
Example: A2-70-austenitic steel reinforced cold tensile strength min. 700N/mm ².
Product labeling
Bolts - hexagon, cylindrical and hexagon socked head bolts diameter from 5 mm have to be marked out in accordance with the validation system, see. Example above. Marking can be done where the screw head is. It must contain class and strength of steel (designation of origin). Any additional markings shall not conflict with standard markings.
Nuts - with a diameter from 5 mm is specified as a group of steel, strength class (if required) with designation of origin, if it is technically possible.
